We may be an Eastend bar, but bands come from all over the world to play or present themselves on the Pipeline stage.

Several nights a week great bands and artists share our stage with the best of the best.

BOOKING

TO BOOK A BAND AT THE PIPELINE - Simply e-mail us at info@thepipelinebar.co.uk and include your MySpace link or a link to your website. You can also drop off or send us a CD or promo pack to the address at the top, but be sure to include your e-mail address, as ALL correspondence is handled by e-mail.

WE BOOK MOSTLY ROCK BANDS. And sometimes rawk, psychobilly, surf, lo-fi and certain other styles we find interestingly off-center. But please DO NOT SEND US anything acoustic. No singer-songwriters. No country. No emo, techno, hip hop, world beat or jam bands.

ALL BAND MEMBERS & ARTISTS MUST BE 18 OR OLDER and have a valid photo ID. If you do not, you will not be allowed to play when you arrive. The law is very strict here, and there are NO exceptions.

WE GET HUNDREDS OF LINKS AND CDs every month from bands who want to play, and we listen to them all and reply to every inquiry. But please understand that although your band may be very good, that does not mean that it is a good fit for our venue.

WE ARE NOT A CLUB, but a rock bar that does not sell tickets or charge a cover. So the most we can offer bands is a little cash, some drinks and a chance to sell merchandise (good bands do very well here selling merch). If your band wants a bigger payday, we totally understand and wish you well elsewhere.

WE WILL NOT BOOK A BAND that is playing at another East London venue the same week. We know you need fuel money, but the East London scene is very small and double booking is not fair to either venue.

CORRESPONDENCE IS DONE BY E-MAIL ONLY. Because everyone's schedule is different, it is the most efficient way. Do not waste your time or ours by calling the bar. No matter what the circumstance, we absolutely WILL NOT CALL YOU BACK!
